Simple Ways To Lose Belly Fat Naturally

Strategies To Lose Belly Flab

The secret to have a flat stomach is to lose the fat concentration in your body. Remember that the flab is created by the “enlargement” of fat cells due to over deposition of fat in them. If you reduce the fat content in the fat cells, they will come back to their normal size and your body would take a natural toned look.
Here are some effective strategies to reduce your belly fat and even develop a “pack” (4,6,8) around the stomach (if you find it over ambitious you can just stick with a flat stomach).

Avoid feeding excess calories to the body

Remember that it’s the excess calories that get stored as “fat” in the cells. From the food that you eat your body takes up a few calories for performing external actions and a few calories for performing internal functions, some calories are used to feed the muscles, tissues and to generate new cells, anything that’s left out is “excess calorie” for the day and the only option is for the body to store it in fat cells.
As an individual, you will need to determine the average amount of calories that your body requires for its sustenance and develop a system where-by you avoid exceeding this amount through food intake. You can use the “calorie requirement” calculator on this link from mayo clinic website, to get an approximate idea of how many calories are sufficient for your body. You can also use a websites like calorieking.com to get an estimate of the number of calorie present in a certain food item that you are consuming.
I know it does not seem too cool to become a calorie counting food geek, but a calculative and disciplined approach can give you effective results than a trial and error approach.

Focus on Aerobic exercises

Apart from managing the calorie intake it’s also essential to burn off the stored up fat in order to reduce your belly fat accumulation. The only way to burn off fat is to use up the calories, you obtained from food intake, in a manner that requires the body to take the calories from the “fat cells” to supply your energy needs.
Aerobic exercises like speed walking, running, cycling and swimming are effective means of straining the body physically to burn up the calories. If you are new to aerobics, start off slowly and increase your exercise duration as you gain more stamina and strength in your muscles. Exercises like running (outside or on a treadmill) or speed walking help tighten the muscles around the stomach region and also causes the body to shed fat to adapt to the routine. Aerobics are far more effective than weight training when it comes to toning the stomach region.
30-45 minutes of aerobic exercises per day should be your goal, but you can start off with 15-20 minutes of exercise initially to get your body adapted to the routine. Make sure you find a way to enjoy this exercise routine instead of doing it as a “chore” – get some cool gear, join a good gym or just choose some nice location where you can exercise while enjoying the surroundings.

Abdomen exercises for better toning

If you can perform a few abdomen exercises per day, along with your aerobic exercise routine, you will be able to achieve the result of having a toned stomach faster. Stomach crunches or sit-ups (you can check out various sit up routines on some instructional youtube videos) and squats are two main routines that help tone the muscles around the abdomen region. Try doing 30 repetition & 3 sets everyday for each routine (you can increase the sets or reps as you go along).

Eating an all fruit breakfast

One of the best ways to reduce body fat is to take up an all fruit breakfast routine where you eat only fruits in the morning, till noon. Citrus fruits are virtual fat burners because of the presence of Vitamin C in them. You should start off your morning with a glass of lemon juice, in warm water and follow it up with a breakfast of cut fruits (focusing more on citrus fruits). You can get more information on this post on how an all fruit breakfast can help reduce fat – burning fat through fruit breakfast.

Reduce consumption of foods with saturated fats

Of the three macro nutrients – carbohydrates, proteins and fat – it’s seen that fats have double the calories of the previous two. If you eat one gram of carbohydrates or one gram of proteins you would gain 4 calories while 1 gram of fat would cause you to gain 8 calories. But your body does require healthy fats (mono saturated fats with essential fatty acids like omega-3 and omega-6), so what you need to reduce is the consumption of saturated fats. Foods that contain a lot of saturated fats are – cheese, butter, lard, cream, red meats and palm oil. Also make sure that you consume healthy fats in moderation mostly through “whole food” sources like grilled fish, olive oil, avocados and lean cuts of poultry.

Focus on eating whole foods

One of most effective ways to control body fat is to eat a diet focused on whole foods rather than consuming processed and refined foods. Whole foods like whole cereals, lentils, vegetables, nuts, fruits, poultry, fish, white meat and eggs are rich in essential minerals, vitamins and provide marco-nutrients in sufficient quantities to meet the calorie requirements of the body. Processed foods like pastries, cakes, milk chocolates, ice-creams, burgers, pizzas, candies, refined flour breads, refined sugar sweets etc are not only calorie intensive but use an unhealthy mix of fats and refined carbohydrates that are generally bad for the body.

Oh Darling Lyrics

"Oh Darling"
(feat. Cady Groves)

[Trevor:]
You seem quite nice for a girl with good looks
And I’m the kinda fellow that’ll make you feel better when your life gets shook
So give it a chance according to your plans
I bet I'm not number one on your list to kiss, but please understand

[Cady:]
You seem quite shy, but you’re oh so cute
And I’m the kind of girl that would love to be yours if you asked me to
So just take a chance, try to hold my hand
I swear I’d never let go
Just let me know if you’d be my man

[Trevor:]
I really want to come out and tell you
Oh darling, I love you so
[Cady:]
If you’d ask me for my heart, there’s no way that I’ll say no
[Trevor:]
Oh darling, just take a chance please
[Cady:]
So we can stay together till hell starts to freeze

[Trevor:]
You seem quite right for a boy like me
[Cady:]
And I wanna know would you treat me well
Would you treat me like a queen
[Trevor:]
Cause I’d like to show you and make you see
[Both:]
That although we’re different types
We were meant to be

[Trevor:]
I really want to come out and tell you
Oh darling, I love you so
[Cady:]
If you’d ask me for my heart, there’s no way that I'll say no
Oh darling, just take a chance please
[Cady:]
So we can stay together till hell starts to freeze

So I gotta ask you,
I cant be afraid
I gotta take a chance at love
So what do you say

Oh darling, I love you so
If you’d ask me for my heart, there’s no way that I'll say no
Oh darling, just take a chance please
So we can stay together till hell starts to freeze

Oh darling, I love you so
If you’d ask me for my heart, there’s no way that I'll say no
Oh darling, just take a chance please
So we can stay together till hell starts to freeze

Next Hairstyle of Me

An Escape to Taman Negara

Hi there!

It has been such a long time I haven't update this space of mine. Fuhh... Been busy with WORK lately... Today's topic is An Escape to Taman Negara. On last May 12 - May 14, me and students of American Degree Transfer Program went for an escape to National Park or known as Taman Negara.

I never had any chance to go to Taman Negara before and I have no idea what does it looks like or how does it feel to be in the area. All I know, playing in mind was 'pacat', animals, rivers, boats and jungle. Somehow, I cannot imagine myself standing in the middle of the jungle or even sitting in the boat like what I've seen in TV. Hahaha! So-not-cool-me.

The journey from Kuala Lumpur took me about 3 hours and half to arrive. The scenery was scary to me as I have to passed by those ladang kelapa sawit and I met lots of cow along the way! The road has no lights at all! Geez.... Must be very dark at night. Scary! And, the road condition also not very good with lubang sini, lubang sana... OMG!

The moment when I arriving there, I was shocked and getting excited. It was so damn calming and peaceful. We stayed at Dakili Hostel which the scenery facing the river. I get more excited when I feel I breathe the fresh air, with the sound of river, bird's singing and insects sound. I can see myself in the middle of the nature. I like what I have seen. Subhanallah...

Our activity started with Jungle Trekking to Teresek Hill and Canopy Walk. So, the trekking begin in the morning after breakfast. We need to go there by boat. I was a bit afraid at first but I had promised to myself that I will enjoy this escape and feel the nature by myself. Right when we arrived, we had a quick briefing from tour guide and then here we go! We've been explained by out tour guide on every plants along the way. This include the function of the plants and when should it be used. We get more excited again when we found out lots of useful plants in the jungle! Very naturally. The platform was in a good condition because they have just rebuild and renew it. So, it was quite easy for us to walk in the jungle. Only some parts with no platforms where we need to walk on those tanah merah and lecak. Nevertheless, it was still a good experience for me and it was fun! I can still freshly remembered those time.

On the day itself, Canopy Walk was closed due to heavy raining on the other night. So, we had to cancelled the activity and proceed to Rapid Shooting and Visiting Orang Asli. I love Rapid Shooting activity because it involves water! We were all wet and surely it was fun! Students really enjoyed this activity. We smiled, we laughed, we screamed and we had fun together. Aww, I wish I could do that again...

Visiting Orang Asli was another priceless activity for me. All this while, I only watched it on TV and read it from books and magazines, but I never had any chance to meet them personally. During this activity, we can asked lots of questions about them. Usually, women are responsible to build the houses and men are required to hunting to survive. A new knowledge for me. We were given a chance to try the sumpit on a target, which is a doll. Students were really enjoyed and so do I. I tried the sumpiting activity and guess what? I won! Kene mata doll tu.... Hehehe... Finally, we took photos with them and thanked them for everything. Luckily they don't prepared us with some food and beverage. Fuhh....

Then, we went back to our hostel and rest. Get ready for the next activity which was BBQ session. Eating time!!! I like!!! Few funny pictures were snapped during that time. It showed how much fun we had together on the 2nd day. At night, we went for Night Jungle Walk to watched insects and animals. We saw spiders, sleeping birds, belalang ranting, scorpion and huge ants. Some of them saw snakes. We even saw a pair of tapir named Tahan and Suraya and also a kijang named Jamil. Aww... They were absolutely, super duper, awesomely CUTE! I took some pictures with these animals and I really love it.

On the next morning, before we pushed off to Kuala Lumpur, we went for Canopy Walk since it was open on that day. Best! Excited! Fun! I thought I felt gayat during the walking part but alhamdulillah, I was OK... Only 7 platforms opened for public and the rest were closed due to pokok tumbang. Well, at least I had the chance to be on the trails among the canopy trees and I think I like it so much as it rebuilds my confidence to walk on the high bridges.

Before we went back, for the last time, we snapped pictures together with tour guides and hostel's owner. For the last time also, I wished Goodbye to Taman Negara.
